Physical Properties:  

• TheTyvek F suit by Dupont consists of a substrate of Tyvek plus a polymeric coating, Tychem F. 100% particle tight, it provides total protection against ultra fine hazardous dusts and powders.

It offers:

• Protection. High particulate, spray and splash barrier
• Durability. Tyvek is extremely tough, tear and abrasion resistant.
• Contaminant-free. Tyvek is made from purer high density polyethylene. Does not contain fillers, binders or silicon.

Because of the combination of Tyvek and Tychem F this garment will resist concentrated inorganic acids and bases and water based salt solutions. Tychem F resists liquid splashes of pressure up to 5bar. What’s more, it has passed penetration tests with blood and surrogate viruses which proves it can be used against body fluids, blood and blood-borne pathogens.
